Dragon Land

Privacy Policy – "Dragon Land" ("Kraina Smoków")

Effective date: 18 October 2026
Applies to: the Dragon Land (Polish: "Kraina Smoków") Android app distributed on Google Play.

1. Who we are

The app is developed and provided by:
CUBE SOLUTIONS MICHAŁ STAWNIAK (sole proprietorship)

Tax ID (NIP): 5961727036
Registered in the Polish business register CEIDG (KRS not applicable).

CUBE SOLUTIONS MICHAŁ STAWNIAK is the data controller to the extent it processes data itself (e.g. e-mail correspondence).

Referred to below as "we" or "us".

2. Summary

  • The app requires no account. We (Cube Solutions) run no servers for the app and have no access to the profile, photos or results stored on your phone.
  • Since version 7.0 the app shows Google AdMob ads – full-screen only, after a finished game (at most after every second game and at most once every 3 minutes). Ads are configured as child-directed (child age treatment): non-personalised, no remarketing, content rated G (general audiences). The app does not use the Android advertising ID (the AD_ID permission is removed).
  • Google's advertising library (Google Mobile Ads SDK) sends Google the technical data needed to serve an ad (see section 5). The recipient of this data is Google, not us.
  • The app offers a one-time in-app purchase "No ads", handled entirely by Google Play (section 6). The offer is only in Settings, behind a grown-ups gate.
  • The player's name (or nickname), avatar or profile photo and game results are stored only on the phone and are never passed to ads or to Google.
  • When playing on several phones on the same Wi-Fi network, the app sends the player's name and avatar/photo, plus game moves, directly to the other phones in that game (see section 4).

3. Data processed on the phone

Photos and camera. The app has no access to your whole gallery. You pick a photo yourself in the system photo picker (Android Photo Picker) or take one with the system camera app. The app receives only that single photo. It does not request camera or media permissions. The photo is used only as the player's picture. The app does not analyse faces or recognise people.

Tip for parents. A photo is optional. You can use a built-in avatar instead of your child's photo, and a nickname instead of a real name.

4. Multiplayer on several phones (local Wi-Fi)

When you choose to play on several phones:

  • the host phone announces the game on the local network (mDNS/NSD). The announcement name contains only the app name and a short game code (no player name) and is visible to devices on the same Wi-Fi network;
  • phones connect directly to each other on the same network, without our servers or the internet;
  • the other phones in that game receive: the player's name, chosen avatar or profile photo, and game moves;
  • the other players' phones use this data only during the game, to display opponents, and do not store it permanently (Wi-Fi games are not saved, and other players' names and photos are not written to the phone's storage);
  • communication between the phones is encrypted (fresh keys for every connection, ECDH P-256 + AES-256-GCM); both phones show the same 4-digit code to compare;
  • an ad (if any) is shown only on that phone, after the game has ended; multiplayer data is never passed to ads.

Even with encryption we recommend multiplayer on a trusted home network, because the game announcement name is visible to the whole Wi-Fi network. A photo is not needed for multiplayer; a built-in avatar is enough.

We do not pass this data to anyone, because we never receive it.

5. Ads (Google AdMob)

Ads are provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK). When the app may show ads (you have not bought "No ads"), the library connects to Google's servers and automatically collects and shares with Google:

  • the device's IP address (Google may use it to estimate the general location, e.g. country/city);
  • app and ad interactions (e.g. app launch, ad impressions, taps, video views);
  • diagnostic information (e.g. launch time, performance, hangs, energy use);
  • device identifiers – e.g. the app set ID. The app does not provide the Android advertising ID (AD ID) – the permission is removed from the app.

Google's purposes: serving ads, ad measurement and statistics, fraud prevention and security. The data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Every ad request is tagged child-directed (age-restricted treatment: child) with the maximum content rating G – Google then serves no personalised or remarketing ads and limits data collection under its policies for child-directed content. Because ads are non-personalised and child-directed, the app shows no consent form for personalised ads.

This data is received by Google, not by us; Google processes it under its own policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

How to switch ads off: the one-time "No ads" purchase (section 6) – after it the app never starts the advertising library at all. Without internet no ads are shown and the game works normally.

6. In-app purchase "No ads" (Google Play)

The purchase is one-time and handled by Google Play (Google Play Billing). Payment, card details and the receipt stay with Google – we do not receive them. The app only receives from Google Play whether the "No ads" purchase is active (with a technical purchase token) and stores that on the phone. Google Play may show us transaction data in the Play Console (e.g. order number, country, price). "Restore purchase" checks Google Play for the purchase on the same Google account. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies.

7. Android backup

The app uses Android's standard backup. If Google system backup is turned on on your phone, Android may back up app data (including the profile, saved players and profile photos) to your Google Account and transfer it to a new phone during setup. This happens under Google's terms and your phone settings (Settings › Google › Backup), where you can turn backup off. We have no access to that backup.

8. What the app does NOT do

  • it does not collect precise (GPS) location, contacts, IMEI, serial number, MAC address or SSID/BSSID; it does not use the Android advertising ID;
  • it never sends the name, photo, avatar or results to us or to Google;
  • it does not connect to our servers (we have none); it only connects to Google (ads, Google Play) and to phones on the same Wi-Fi during multiplayer;
  • it shows no personalised ads and no ads during play; it does not prompt children to buy – the offer is only in Settings, behind a grown-ups gate;
  • it has no chat or features for publishing content on the internet; we do not sell data.

9. Children

The app is designed for children and families. We expect a parent or guardian to create and set up a child's profile. Profile data stays on the phone and never reaches us. Ads are configured as child-directed (non-personalised, rated G, no advertising ID); the purchase and external links are behind a grown-ups gate. The parent decides whether to use a photo or a built-in avatar, and whether to allow local network play.

10. Deleting data

All data is on your phone and fully under your control:

  • you can change or delete the profile and saved players in the app (the "Profile" button in the main menu), and remove a saved player with the bin icon ("Forget") in the saved-players list when adding players;
  • you can delete all app data in Android settings (Apps › Dragon Land › Storage › Clear data) or by uninstalling the app.

We keep no copies, so you do not need to send us a deletion request. Data collected by Google in connection with ads is processed by Google under its policies (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The "No ads" purchase belongs to the Google account and can be restored after reinstalling with "Restore purchase".

11. Your rights and the GDPR

Because we ourselves do not receive or store app data (apart from any transaction data in the Play Console), in practice we hold no data that we could provide, correct or delete. If you have privacy questions, contact us at kontakt@wearecube.pl. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, https://uodo.gov.pl), or the authority in your country of residence.

If you contact us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address and message only to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and keep them for as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than 12 months after it is closed.

12. Security

Data is kept in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot access. The app uses the system photo picker and camera instead of requesting broad permissions. Wi-Fi multiplayer is encrypted, and data sent by the advertising library and Google Play is encrypted with TLS.

13. Changes

If we change how the app handles data (for example by adding a new network feature), we will update this policy and the date above. We will announce material changes in the Google Play release notes or in the app.
